Barty Blake is a character on Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. He débuts in the first episode of the first season and is voiced by Frank Welker.
History
One day, Barty and his wife, Nan, try to convince their daughter Daphne to stop solving mysteries. Nan also tries to convince Daphne to find "other boys" instead of Fred Jones, who they can tell she has feelings for, but Daphne explains Fred is different and she likes him for who he is. Her parents tell her they just want her to have a successful future like her sisters, before the Mystery Machine comes to go to school and Daphne leaves. ("Beware the Beast from Below")
Nan and Barty set up Daphne to meet a rich boy named Rung Ladderton, although Daphne isn't fond of him. Daphne is upset that it feels like cheating on Fred, even though they're just friends. Her parents try to convince her that Rung is better than Fred and asks her just to give him a try. ("The Secret of the Ghost Rig")
